The CHAOS Game
The Chaos Game: Godot 4.3 Test
Note: If there are visual issues with the polygons, I recommend downloading the executable version
The Chaos Game is an interactive exploration of fractals using a simple iterative process. This game allows players to create and visualize complex fractal patterns through random selections and iterative calculations.
How It Works:
- Start with a Polygon: Choose a simple polygon like an equilateral triangle.
- Select an Initial Point: Pick a random starting point inside the polygon.
- Iterate:
- Randomly choose one of the polygon’s vertices.
- Move the current point halfway towards the selected vertex.
- Mark this new point.
- Observe the Fractal: As iterations progress, a fractal pattern emerges.
Features:
- Interactive Controls: Adjust iterations and polygon shapes.
- Real-Time Visualization: Watch the fractal form live.
- Exploration Tools: Experiment with different shapes and settings.
